Using Google Assistant
These instructions will help enable you to control your Ergonomyx Sit-Stand Desk with Google Assistant. Before you get started, please make sure that:
- Your Ergonomyx app is updated to the latest version.
- Your desk's firmware is updated to the latest version.
- You have the Google Assistant app installed and updated to the latest version.
To enable Google Assistant to control your Ergonomyx Sit Stand Desk, please follow the following steps:

Navigate to the Google Actions page, select "Link", then enter your Ergonomyx credentials.

Select the drop down menu under "Send to device" and choose the Google Assistant Enabled device you would like to use.

With the device you've choosen say, "Hey Google, Talk to Ergo Desk" to ensure that your account has been linked and the action has successfully transferred.

Follow one of the following, depending on your operating system :
A. If you are using iOS open the Google Assistant app on your phone and select your profile icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
B. If you are using Android, find "Assistant settings" in the setting app on your phone. -
Follow one of the following, depending on your operating system :
A. If you are using iOS, select "Devices" and find the device that you would like to enable. Make sure the "Personal Results" switch is turned on.
B. If you are using Android, under the general tab, Turn the Google Assistant on.
Once you've discovered your desk, you can control your desk using Google Assistant Enabled device. Some example commands are:
- Hey Google, ask Ergo Desk to move my desk to standing.

Hey Google, ask Ergo Desk to turn on haptics.

Hey Google, ask Ergo Desk to lock.
Troubleshooting
If you have followed the above steps and your desk isn't responding to voice commands, please follow ensure the following steps are done.

Ensure that your desk's firmware is updated to the lastest firmware. This can be done through the Ergonomyx app by navigating to the connections page, then to the settings ⚙ page. Under the extension tab, press the "Upgrade Desk Version", enter your WiFi credentials, and press "Upgrade" to update your desk's firmware. This can take up to two minutes.

Ensure that your desk is connected to WiFi. This can be done through the Ergonomyx app by navigating to the connections page, then to the settings ⚙ page. Under the extension tab, next to the "Connect to Google Assistant" item, the microphone icon should be filled with green and say "Enabled" underneath it. If the icon isn't filled with green and says "Disabled" underneath it, press the icon to share WiFi with the desk.
